Our key statutory functions

The functions of the Commissioner are set out in the Part 6 of the Public Service Act 1999 and Part 6 of the Parliamentary Service Act 1999.

We perform our statutory functions independently, fairly and impartially.

Our work supports compliance with the employment principles, values and the codes of conduct of both the Australian Public Service and Parliamentary Service.
